The Blog returns for November

My Blog returns for November

So, it’s November, and I’ve decided that NaNoWriMo isn’t for me this year.  But, instead, I’ll be trying a modified NaBloPoMo, like I did in March. My goal is to post something every day.  I won’t be necessarily using THIS blog every day, though. I’ll be alternating posts between here, Examiner.com, and The Geek Girl Project.

There are two lists of blogging prompts I may work from, and I’ve been compiling things I’ve been wanting to learn more about. Those posts will be here.  I’m really excited about writing more for the GGP, so definitely “Like” us on Facebook if you haven’t yet.

November is the month that prompts us to be thankful. I will probably write some posts about what I’m thankful for, but probably not very many. It’s not that I don’t have a lot to be thankful for; I do. I just don’t have much to say that isn’t being said over and over, all month. For someone who writes publicly, I’m still a very private person.  I’m still trying to figure a lot of things out. I want to be genuine. I want to mean everything I say and not say things just to sound good.  And even now, the things I really want to say, I don’t because I’m afraid.

NaBloPoMo March 2013

I’ve been thinking about starting a blog for a while. It was a goal of mine for January and February, but never got done.  Well, as February ends on the East Coast, I decided to give it a try.

I’ve seen two Blogging challenges. My friend Missy is doing this one. BlogHer is promoting NaBloPoMo, something that I’ve wanted to try, and appropriately, the theme is “risk.” I don’t know how many prompts I’ll end up using; usually I have something to say. If you come to my blog from my geek writing, beware, I’m unapologetically conservative here in my own space. Wherever you come from, I hope you enjoy my month of posts.
